About Elinore Eaton
"When an artist is genuine, we trust them to transport us." - Holly Shaw
Elinore Eaton is a focused and passionate artist, always exploring, studying, creating. Her life’s passion is making art that brings new perspectives to universal truths and stories, myth and folklore. Although we all have unique experiences and stories, we are not alone, and sometimes art can remind us of our shared but unique place in the world.
Elinore is a mostly conceptual artist, meaning the emotions and concepts of her work come first. She creates her art with both digital and traditional mediums that include graphite, charcoal, watercolor, ink, and acrylic, as well as digital paint and programs. The end result and its emotional message is the main goal of her work, and she’s not afraid to blend mediums and break rules to get there. Her style is both realistic and fantastical, and she explores subjects of myth, folklore, spirit, and magic.
Elinore Eaton has been a professional freelance illustrator and graphic designer for over ten years in both commercial and fine art industries, holding a BFA from SF State, with studies from CCA and Miami Ad School, as well as years of self taught disciplines. One of her favorite things about art is that it is a never ending practice with endless possibilities. She currently teaches painting classes to adults in both watercolor and acrylic, and is working on a Tarot deck as a personal project. Dance is also a major component to Elinore’s life and has been a professional belly dancer for over fifteen years.
